Field Trip workshops provide teachers with the opportunity to learn, first-hand how to use our new facility to engage your students in scientific inquiry.

These two-hour workshops will give educators the chance to become familiar with the Museum and the available learning experiences through a tour of the Museum and the opportunity to better understand the curriculum based activities that have been developed for your students.

Further, you will learn how our self-guided field trips are based on National and State Standards.  They incorporate the nature of science and science process skills to create authentic, student-driven field trips that will inspire exploration, discussion and enthusiasm.  Plus, you will earn two relicensure points!
