Friday, May 3, 2013 - 2:00pm - 4:00pm
Life Gallery - Naturalist Lab

Dust blown from the deserts of the western US onto mountain snowpacks speeds up snowmelt.  Join snow hydrologist Annie Bryant to learn about the impacts of dust on snow in Utah and Colorado.  Discover where the dust comes from, try your hand at a temperature experiment, and examine snow science tools.
