This 5 hour Saturday session will highlight Parasites with the opportunity to learn first-hand from Dr. Sarah Bush. Includes hands-on activities as well as practice with toolbox lesson plans and the integration of content into other curriculum.

Teaching Toolbox Workshop: Experience Plants!

These 5 hour Saturday sessions will highlight plants. You will have the opportunity to learn first-hand from scientists. We will go outside and identify plants, engage with hands-on activities, as well as practice with toolbox lesson plans, and the integration of content into other curriculum. 

Educators will receive five relicensure points for completing this workshop. 

Teaching Toolbox Workshop: Experience Content

These 5 hour Saturday sessions will highlight specific content areas (ie: Geology, Soils, Water Modeling) with the opportunity to learn first-hand from scientists, hands-on activities, as well as practice with toolbox lesson plans and the integration of content into other curriculum.

Teaching Toolbox Workshop: Experience Insects!

This workshop will focus on insects and feature Christy Bills, Entomology & Malacology Collections Manager at the Natural History Museum of Utah.

Teaching Toolbox Workshop: Experience Water Modeling!

This January workshop will have focus on Water Modeling and will feature an opportunity to learn directly from Anthony Macharia - graduate student studying with Curator, Dr. Mitchell Power here at NHMU.
