Teaching Toolbox Workshop: Experience Soils!

This workshop will focus on soils and feature Dr. Mitchell Power, Curator of Garrett Herbarium at the Natural History Museum of Utah and Professor of Geography at the University of Utah.

Teaching Toolbox Workshop

During this dynamic, hands-on workshop you will engage with unique specimens, participate in authentic learning and increase your understanding of the nature of science.  You will also learn strategies for transfering these new understandings into your classroom and how to incorporate the scientific process into other areas of the curriculum through our Teaching Toolbox program.
