Free Days at the Museum
The Museum will offer four Free Days during 2012 in appreciation for the important Zoo, Arts, and Parks funding we receive from Salt Lake County. The 2012 Free Days are scheduled for:
- Monday, January 9
- Monday, April 9
- Monday, July 9
- Saturday, September 29
Hours for all days will be 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
It is strongly recommended that visitors reserve advance tickets for Free Days, which will be available on a "while supplies last" basis one week prior to the scheduled Free Day.
Advance reservations for free tickets for the July 9 Free Day will be available online via the "Buy Tickets" webpage starting Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at 12:00 Noon MDT.
Advance ticket reservations for Free Day are available only online. When making reservations, you will be asked to select a time to start your visit. If you are not able to make a reservation for that time slot, it means that it is sold-out and that reservations are no longer available for that start time. Please select another time.
Free Day tickets will be offered for visits starting at 10:00 a.m. and every half hour after that through 3:30 p.m. The last admission to the Museum's galleries will be at 4:30 p.m. The galleries close at 5:00 p.m., and visitors must leave the Museum at that time. The total quantity of tickets will be limited to ensure a safe and pleasant visit for all attendees.
