U of U Staff, Faculty and Family Appreciation Evening

Wednesday, October 18, 3 p.m.–9 p.m.
Natural History Museum of Utah | Rio Tinto Center
Free for U of U Staff, Faculty & Family

You and your family are invited to enjoy a wickedly fun evening at the Natural History Museum of Utah. Enter, if you dare, our new special exhibition, participate in Halloween activities, and explore the permanent galleries during a ghost-themed treasure hunt. The event is free for University of Utah staff, faculty, and their families, so no need to RSVP. Come dressed in your Halloween costume to make the evening complete.

Family activities will include:

  • Explore Vikings: Beyond the Legend, and don't be suprised if you encounter a group of Vikings face-to-face
  • Summon your courage, stealth, strength, and balance to find out if you have what it takes to earn the Jarl's coveted title of Viking raider
  • Hear spine-tingling Viking stories and songs
  • Make your own Viking shield
  • Get your face painted

Mark your calendars and join us for a fun family night at the Natural History Museum of Utah!
