Dark Sky is an immersive and interactive experience that addresses our dramatically changing night sky and the impacts it has on humans and animals.
The exhibit features:
- An immersive threshold wrapped in a high-resolution image of the Milky Way
- An interactive that allows visitors to control artificial light and observe the impact it has on the landscape
- A “talk-back” opportunity inviting visitors to create a night sky and share it with others
Dark Sky was developed, designed, and fabricated by the Multi-disciplinary Design students at the University of Utah in partnership with NHMU and the Consortium for Dark Sky Studies.
