DinoFest 2022 Covid Precautions

NHMU plans to run our 6th annual DinoFest event on January 29 & January 30, 2022. Our goal is to host an in-person event that is fun, exciting, and safe for all those that attend. To ensure safety, the Museum plans to take the following precautions:
  • Limited attendance for this event weekend
  • Spread out attendance throughout the day--something we've been doing since August of 2020
  • Increasing the footprint for the event to ensure greater social distancing between activities
  • Reduced seating in our lectures to allow for greater social distancing
  • Reduced community partner booths to allow for greater social distancing
  • Multiple DinoFest Speakers will join virtually, from all over the world
  • Reducing the amount of hands-on/close-contact programming
  • Committed to extra cleaning and sanitization throughout event
  • Hand sanitizer available throughout event

And finally: Per Salt Lake County Public Health Order, all guests over 2, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear well-fitting masks when inside the Museum. For questions regarding accomodations please see our accessibility page.
