Wednesday, April 5, 2023 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm
The Natural History Museum of Utah | Rio Tinto Center

A bound craft book with carved stamps
Class Description: Join local bookmaker Jazmin Gallegos for a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to bookbinding! In this 1.5 hour stamp and bookmaking workshop, you will be guided in a step-by-step bookmaking activity using mostly recycled materials to construct a custom field journal which can be used by the everyday naturalist. Whether going on a hike to spot the wildflowers or a simple walk around your neighborhood, you'll be ready to use your handmade book in a variety of outdoor settings! All materials & equipment are provided, and beginners are welcome.
