Wednesday, September 7, 2022 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm
The Natural History Museum of Utah | Rio Tinto Center

About this workshop:

A mini macrame wall hanging.
Come learn how to make a beautiful mini macramé wall hanging with local artist Eden Deveraux of Ede's Macramé! Attendees will learn 3 fundamental macramé knotting techniques at this hands-on workshop as they create a fun ornamental work of fiber art that can be used to hang on a wall, in a car, as a holiday ornament, or given as a cute handmade gift. Participants will choose between a cinnamon stick or wooden dowel to customize their piece and will be equipped with over 5 different rope colors to give each macramé piece a unique flair. This workshop is beginner-friendly, and all supplies are provided.

  • Non-member fee: $40
  • Museum Member fee: $36

About the artist:

The artist and her work.
Hi! I am Eden Deveraux, owner of Ede's Macramé. I have always had a passion for creativity and this was the perfect outlet. I self taught myself in 2020 by making some plant hangers for my sisters growing plant collection and have loved it ever since. Since then I have made just over 100 different macrame patterns. I started Ede’s Macrame with the hope to provide high quality products at reasonable prices to help more people enjoy macrame. I am excited to start teaching others and hope that I can be the spark to create your love for macrame. Instagram: @edesmacrame
