This NHMU Craft Workshop, presented by Craft Lake City, will be taught by Amy Stephens of Root + Rise Botanicals. A specialist in natural wellness and herbal infusions, Stephens will demonstrate how to use natural dyes and fibers to create vibrant cloth products. Attendees will learn about the rich tradition of shibori, the Japanese art of manual resist dyeing using various folding techniques, and then dip and dye their own indigo hand towels.
