Papermaking Craft Workshop at NHMU

This event is sold out. Follow the Related Programs link below to see more from our Craft Workshop series.

This NHMU Craft Workshop, presented by Craft Lake City, will be taught by local artisan Brady Lars Burrows, of Lars Love Letters. Burrows will lead participants through his custom process of papermaking from recycled materials and natural fibers. Attendees will learn about the tradition of handmade paper, discover how to mix pulp, and then press and embellish their own handmade valentines.

About the artist:

Artisan Brady Lars Burrows is the co-owner of Lars Love Letters, a company he describes as a handmade paper studio, printmaking playground, and experimental pulp laboratory.  Lars Love Letters produces humorous cards and paper goods from junk mail and recycled materials, aiming to spread love without creating new waste.

Presented by Craft Lake City and the Natural History Museum of Utah.
