A yoga instructor leads children in improvised dance waving colorful scarves.

NHMU and the University of Utah are taking proactive steps to keep our community safe during the spread of coronavirus. For that reason, all upcoming NHMU Youth & Family Programming has been cancelled. Learn more. If this event is rescheduled to return at a later date, this page will be updated when those details become available.

Join us for our popular family yoga program with Kidding Around Yoga instructor Sarah Bly. K.A.Y utilizes original music, games and sensory play with meditation, breathing techniques and deep relaxation—helping children focus their minds and stretch their bodies while having loads of fun.

Yoga mats are provided. Programming is geared towards children age 3-10 and their adult/chaperone; children must be accompanied by an adult, who is free of charge. At least one adult is required with groups of up to 4 children. While adults are free, they must be accompanied by a child; no solo adults please. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement.

Offered in partnership with Kidding Around Yoga with Sarah Bly

"Sarah is an incredible teacher - she can make sometimes boring/slow topics of yoga and meditation fun and engaging for children. Our kids loved the objects she uses, the fun songs and movements, but most of all they love the secret garden relaxation at the end."
