Blast up to NHMU this Fourth of July for an Independence Day celebration!

Enjoy yard games, hands-on activities, and delicious barbecue, and keep an eye out for Lady Liberty and George Washington. Tour NHMU’s award-winning galleries, including our special exhibit Nature’s Ultimate Machines. And, cap the night off with a view of firework shows across the valley from the best seat in town. Our Independence Day celebration will kick off at 6 p.m., but feel free to come early to enjoy more time at the Museum. 

  • Explore the Museum’s permanent galleries and special exhibit, Nature’s Ultimate Machines until 9:30 p.m.
  • Enjoy music, yard games, and hands-on activities until 10 p.m.
  • Get a plate full of delicious barbecue, available for purchase

For guests sticking around to watch fireworks, Museum bathrooms will remain open until 10:30 p.m.
