Norse Fest

Saturday, September 23, 2017 - 10:00am to 5:00pm
The Natural History Museum of Utah | Rio Tinto Center

Norse Fest is happening at NHMU
Hail! Join us at the Natural History Museum of Utah on Saturday, September 23 for Norse Fest! In conjunction with the Museum’s special exhibit Vikings: Beyond the Legend, NHMU is celebrating all things Norse, from food to music, dance, and more.

The festival will feature an array of old Norse cultural hallmarks—some you may know, and some you may not.

  • Watch Norse artists at work, including dancers, weavers, blacksmiths, and more
  • Research your Viking roots with the LDS Family History Library researchers
  • Get a taste of culture through a variety of Norse foods
  • Create your own Viking shield
  • At 2 p.m. hear from several Norse historians and experts at our Nordic Science Café mini-lectures

Join us at the Natural History Museum of Utah on Saturday, September 23 , from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for all of this and more.

Norse Fest is included with regular Museum admission.
