Join Dr. Daniel Lieberman, Harvard evolutionary biologist and barefoot running expert, for a non-competitive 4 km run along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail south of the Natural History Museum of Utah. Dr. Lieberman will briefly discuss his research on the biomechanics of barefoot running at the Museum prior to leading an informal morning run on the trail. Following the run, Dr. Lieberman will be available to sign copies of his latest book, The Story of the Human Body: Evolution, Health, and Disease.
This event is free, but advance registration and an event waiver are required for participation. Space is limited. All participants must be at least 18 years old. Barefoot running is optional. Please note that you will encounter rocky and uneven surfaces along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
