Discover what it’s like to be a fungal geneticist. Join Kendra Autumn to explore the biology of lobster mushrooms! See and touch dried mushroom specimens, a microscope used for viewing spores, and cloth models of fungi. Try your hand at solving a fungal mystery.

Scientist in the Spotlight is held on the first and third Friday of each month from 2–4 p.m. The program allows Museum guests to meet real scientists and discuss their research.

Included in Museum admission, free to members and University of Utah faculty, staff, and students with a current U ID.
