Taking Learning Outdoors

Saturday, October 5, 2013 - 9:30am to 12:00pm
Natural History Museum of Utah - Community Room

You are invited to participate in a free 4-part workshop, hosted by scientists and educators at the Natural History Museum of Utah, designed to promote better understanding of authentic learning experiences through outdoor exploration.

We will be researching the geology of the Wasatch Front, as well as local water issues; focusing on availability, quality, and dynamics as they are impacted by both human activity and climate change.

Attend all 4 sessions of the workshop and participate in evaluation to receive a $500.00 stipend, $500.00 of supplies, and 1 hour of CACTUS credit.
