During this dynamic, hands-on workshop you will engage with unique specimens, participate in authentic learning and increase your understanding of the nature of science. You will also learn strategies for transfering these new understandings into your classroom and how to incorporate the scientific process into other areas of the curriculum through our Teaching Toolbox program.
Teaching Toolboxes are a statewide resource for educators that are provided free of charge by the Natural History Museum of Utah. They provide unique specimens, lessons and other current resources for over 15 different topic areas.
These two hour workshops are held across the state, including at the Museum's new facility, the Rio Tinto Center. Educators will receive two relicensure points for completing this workshop.
