Jason Cryan, Ph.D., serves as the fourth executive director of the Natural History Museum of Utah. With its rich, 50-year history as the most important natural history museum in America’s Mountain West, NHMU occupies a stunning, award-winning building, the Rio Tinto Center, on the campus of the University of Utah.

Christy Bills

Christy Bills, entomology collections manager, joined the Museum in 1998 and manages the insect collection that dates back to the 1890s, featuring insects from Utah, the Intermountain Region, and the world. Bills is coordinating a database project to digitize all of our hundreds of thousands of entomology specimens and their data.
