Science Movie Night: Turtle

Turtle: The Incredible Journey tells the story of a little loggerhead turtle, as she follows in the path of her ancestors on one of the most extraordinary journeys in the natural world. From a beach in Florida she rides the Gulf Stream to the frozen north, swimming around the entire North Atlantic to Africa and then back to the beach where she was born. Just one in a thousand turtles will make it safely home.

Following the film, staff from The Living Planet Aquarium will join us to share the story of their rescued green sea turtle and answer your turtle questions.
