Sixth Grade Summer Camp Sessions
This camp session is for students who identify as female, will enter the sixth grade in the fall of 2023, and takes place in a full-day, Monday-Thursday format. There is no camp on Friday. We'll have a morning and an afternoon snack break, along with a midday lunch break. Two substantial snacks, a non-refrigerated lunch, and a water bottle, will need to be brought from home each day. To help us provide the best possible camp experience for your child, be sure to review the NHMU Summer Camp FAQ. Drop off and pick up take place at NHMU, unless otherwise noted. Not all school districts begin and end summer break at the same time—check your school schedule before registering.
Wait List: We will not be offering a wait list this summer. Instead, we will post any open slots on the Wednesday prior to each camp week. These will be on a first come, first serve basis.
Girls Only -- Great Salt Lake Investigations
Partner Camp with FRIENDS of Great Salt Lake
Join us for an incredible week with staff from FRIENDS of GSL. Participants will visit places like Antelope Island and Farmington Bay, conduct salty experiments, chew pickle weed, and watch birds through binoculars. We’ll also dissect owl pellets and learn about the oh-so amazing brine shrimp. We are investigators, adventurous, and love being outside. This camp is open to rising 6th graders who identify as female. Drop off and pick up take place at NHMU. Transportation to field trip locations is provided. No camp on Friday.
