Museum On the Move: On-Demand Structure, Function, Survival!

Butterflies on display at the museum.

Thank you for joining us for the Museum on the Move Adaptations On-Demand Class! On this page, we will help you get access to our class and the specimens that your students will explore. We are utilizing 3D models of bird skulls from the Natural History Museum of Utah's collections.

Structure, Function, Survival! reviews concepts from the SEEd Standard 4.1.1: Construct an explanation from evidence that plants and animals have internal and external structures that function to support survival, growth, behavior, and reproduction.

Click the button below to access the on-demand lesson. You will be asked to answer a few questions for our reporting, and the Nearpod link will be at the end of the survey.  Once you've added the class to your Nearpod, you can share the link with your students.

Disclaimer: In order for you to see your students' responses, we have provided access to the editable lesson files. However, we would prefer that they stay unaltered to preserve the content that was prepared by NHMU educators and that carries the Museum name. We are not responsible and do not stand by any changes.
