Great Salt Lake Investigations

Partner Camp with FRIENDS of Great Salt Lake

Join us for an adventurous week with staff from FRIENDS of GSL. From birding in Farmington Bay to swimming with brine shrimp at Antelope Island, each day we will go on an outdoor field trip to explore Great Salt Lake’s unique ecosystem. Along the way, we will practice science and art to learn about migratory birds, water quality, geology, and environmental stewardship. We are scientists, activists, and love being outside. Drop off and pick up takes place at NHMU. Transportation to field trip locations is provided. No camp on Friday.

This innovative space will provide campers an in-depth understanding of not only the animals, but also the creation of their habitats at the Zoo.
