National Geographic Explorer Keynote Speaker

The 2026 Lecture Series keynote at Kingsbury Hall on April 21 will be given by Anand Varma, the biologist-turned-photographer and National Geographic Explorer who is pushing the boundaries of macro imaging techniques used to document the natural world.

Navajo Rug Sale

NHMU's annual Navajo Rug Sale returns on April 11 featuring exquisite weavings from the finest Diné artists in the Four Corners region. The sale is a treat to behold and Museum admission is not required to attend. Guests are also encouraged to bring in their own Navajo rugs for expert evaluation and restoration advice. 

2026 Summer Camps

Summer Camp registration is now open! Camps are already filling quickly, but there is still plenty of space for rising kindergarten students! Scholarships are also still available for those who qualify. 

Utah Food Festival Workshops

The Utah Food Festival is back May 16-17 with more artisan workshops than ever before. From brewing the perfect coffee to learning to cook with wild plants, our workshops provide endless fun and practical skills to develop! Seats are limited.
