While the Museum has reopened, we are currently not offering Highlights Tours. We hope to soon provide guests with self-guided tours that conform to our new visitation policy and will post updates here when they are available. You can also enjoy a personal guided tour of our special exhibition, Antarctic Dinosaurs, with our Airbnb Experience.
You will join our host on an in-depth tour of our special exhibit, Antarctic Dinosaurs! We will learn about and experience dinosaur paleontology and Antarctica in multiple ways. We will imagine travelling back in time to the thriving ecosystems of Antarctica's past, filled with dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. We will see the cold, desolate environment of modern Antarctica, and learn about the scientific studies conducted there, both now and in the past. You'll get to see fossils, skeletons, scientific equipment, dioramas, and more, and you'll get to talk with and learn from your host on this guided tour about Antarctica's amazing natural past!
Antarctic Dinosaurs was developed by The Field Museum, Chicago in partnership with the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, Discovery Place–Charlotte, NC, and the Natural History Museum of Utah. Generous support was provided by the Kenneth C. Griffin Charitable Fund.
