Celebrate your child’s birthday with a science-themed party at the Natural History Museum of Utah! Designed for kids ages 5–10, our parties combine exciting hands-on activities with access to the wonders of the Museum's world-famous exhibits. We handle all the details so you can enjoy the day stress-free. We promise one of the most unique birthday party venues in Salt Lake City!

Availability & Inquiries
Browse weekend dates in the calendar below to see our current birthday party availability. Any date shown with an orange box is available. Once you’ve identified your preferred date, please complete our Inquiry Form or email us. A staff member will follow up during our designated booking hours to confirm availability and complete your booking. Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee or reserve a party date and time. We recommend booking at least 3 weeks in advance.
Staff will process inquiries on Tuesdays from 9am – 2pm.
The staff were extremely engaging and kept the activities moving at a perfect pace for the age of the kids. It was fantastic.
Birthday Party FAQ

Payment, Transfers & Cancellations
Party fee is due at the time of booking. Cancellations received at least two weeks prior to the scheduled party date will receive a refund, less a $20 administration fee.
Transfer requests received at least two weeks prior to the scheduled party date will be accepted if the newly requested date/time is available. There will be a $20 fee to move the date/time.
No transfers will be allowed or refunds given if made less than two weeks prior to the party date.
Outside Birthday Parties
Organized birthday parties are not allowed on the Museum grounds unless part of the Museum's Birthday Party program, which must be reserved in advance.
