Exploring the Great Salt Lake - Stay Curious, Utah!

Doug Tolman talking with a group of students at the Great Salt Lake.

Join an NHMU educator and Doug Tolman, volunteer with FRIENDS of Great Salt Lake and Senior Policy Associate with Save Our Canyons, to learn about the Great Salt Lake through the webinar: An Ancient Sea with Modern Challenges. This webinar will paint the known history of Great Salt Lake, from its ancestor Lake Bonneville down to historic low in 2022. It will integrate how humans have impacted the Lake, and how we can shape that impact to improve the Lake's health within our lifetime. Sessions for K-2nd, 3rd-4th, and 5th-6th grade will have a short presentation with a Q&A. We will also have a story time for our K-2nd grade students.
