Afterschool Adventures is the newest educator resource from the Natural History Museum of Utah, bringing hands-on, museum-inspired learning to afterschool programs across the Salt Lake Valley. What is Afterschool Adventures?

Created by the same team behind NHMU’s award‑winning educator resources, Afterschool Adventures extends the Museum’s expertise in science and education beyond its walls and into local afterschool programs. Each session features fun, engaging lessons built around real museum objects and designed to spark curiosity about science and the natural world.
After every visit, we’ll leave you with additional Afterschool Adventures activities to continue the learning — and we’ll top it all off by inviting your group to the Museum for a free afterschool field trip at a later date.
