Eocene Ecosystems Teaching Toolbox
Students will explore 3D printed models of jaw bones from current mammals and mammals from the Eocene Epoch. By studying the jaws, students will learn about diet, habitat, and change over time. Jaws prints are provided at both life scale and scaled to 6 inches to allow for easier study of teeth structure and discussions of scale, proportion, and size.
