NHMU Internship: Public Programs Gallery

Estimated Duration of Internship: 2 Semesters

Number of hours the intern will work per week over a 16 week semester: 18 hours (6 academic credit hours)

Intern Position Description: The applicant will work with our Public Programs Coordinator to support the development, and implementation of Gallery Interpreter Programs at the NHMU. This applicant will utilize their background in Anthropology, Paleontology, Biology or other fields related to NHMU’s exhibits to help update, and facilitate our Gallery programming at the Museum.

Learning Outcomes or Goals: 

  1. To develop a gallery program based on their academic background
  2. To gain experience facilitating gallery programs
  3. To gain experience supporting museum events
