Workshop Description
Enjoy an evening of adventure into the world of two-color printmaking at this craft workshop taught by local artist Anna Hansen, owner of The Hex Press. In this class, you will learn how to create a two-color print using two block carvings. Anna will guide you through the basics of image transfer, registration, carving tips, safety tips and hand printing techniques. You'll leave the class with your very own multicolored print, two carved blocks and the knowledge you need to continue your printmaking journey!
All supplies provided and beginners welcome. Recommended for ages 14 and up. Ages 14-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
About the Instructor
Anna Hansen is a Printmaker, born and raised in Utah, and influenced by the natural beauty and wildness of the landscapes of the American West. She specializes in block printing by hand onto textiles and is best known for her mobile small business, The Hex Press.
