Kendra Autumn

Fungi have evolved a mind-blowing variety of shapes, sizes, colors, and lifestyles. Depending on the species, fungi can be friends or enemies of animals, plants, and even other fungi. In this lecture, Kendra Autumn, Ph.D., will give an introduction to mycology (the study of fungi), focusing on the most extreme and unexpected representatives of fungal diversity.

Kendra Autumn, Ph.D., completed her Ph.D. in Ecology, Organismal, and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Utah in Dr. Bryn Dentinger's lab at the NHMU. She is originally from Portland, OR.
