Stories

Native Voices, Level 5

A Navajo basket.

Notice the details on an object. Think about the work that was involved in creating it. Tell a story about something you have made that took a lot of work.

Life, Level 4

A museum exhibit.

Find an interesting animal in one of the ecosystem dioramas. If you had one as a pet, what would you do together?

Great Salt Lake, Level 3

A museum exhibit.

If Lake Bonneville hadn’t disappeared, we would be underwater. Imagine living at the bottom of the lake as a merperson. What would you do? How would your life be different?

Gems and Minerals, Level 3

An exhibit of minerals.

Imagine being a geologist. You explore the world looking for interesting rocks and minerals. Find your favorite mineral and come up with a story about how you found it.

Land, Level 3

An interactive earthquake table in a museum.

Try out the earthquake simulator. Have you ever experienced an earthquake? What was it like? If you haven’t, what would you do if one happened?

Past Worlds, Level 2

A dinosaur fossil.

Imagine being a dinosaur. Which of the ones in the exhibit would you want to be? What would you do as a dinosaur?
