Home School Visits
Thank you for your interest in visiting the Natural History Museum of Utah!
Home school families are invited to visit NHMU at a discounted price. Please read through the details below and fill out the request form at the bottom of the page.
Updates for 2024-2025 School Year: Affadavits are required to recieve the discounted home school admission rate. Groups such as My Tech High or Harmony Education are categorized as charter schools and will need to book a field trip through their school contact.
Visit Details
- Home school affidavit required for discount admission rate. Information about home school affidavits from Utah State Board of Education can be found online here.
- Tickets are not available for purchase at the Museum and must be reserved in advance.
- Ticket requests must be made at least 3 weekdays in advance.
- Tickets subject to approval for discount and availability.
- Discount not available on festival weekends and cannot be combined with other discounts.
- Home School admission discount only available to families (no more than 10 people) through this form. Large home school groups, conglomerates or schools must book through the group field trip process. Request a group field trip here.

Pricing
To receive the discounted Home School Family admission rate, families must request tickets in advance through the form on this page. Home School admission rate only valid for families that are actively homeschooling their K-12th grade children, not for additional friends or relatives.
