Events Staff Lead

The Event Staff Lead acts as the Event Supervisor throughout the duration of the event and delegates tasks to Events Staff to ensure that Museum clients have a positive experience that exceeds expectations. The Lead is the primary point of contact for all external vendors such as Catering, Floral, AV and Entertainment and will greet/assist at loading dock.  

The Lead is also responsible for the Post Event Checklist for all vendors and ensuring all Equipment/Signage & Facility/Security inspections have been signed off prior to event end.

School Programs Informal Education Internship (University of Utah undergraduate students only)

The School Programs Intern will work closely with the department’s education specialists to complete a variety of projects centered on informal science education for K-12 students and teachers.

The intern's primary responsibilities will include developing new, engaging curricula for outdoor education, and/or refining existing programs and lessons.
