NOTICE OF DATA SECURITY INCIDENT

BLACKBAUD DATA SECURITY INCIDENT

On July 16, the Natural History Museum of Utah received a notification from one of its vendors, the software firm Blackbaud, regarding a data security incident.

NHMU is among the many educational institutions and nonprofit organizations around the world that use Blackbaud and its products for constituent relationship management software.

This recent data security incident has affected numerous Blackbaud clients, including the Natural History Museum of Utah.

The Museum has worked with Blackbaud and the University of Utah Information Security Office to comply with all security incident reporting. We will share additional information as necessary.
