Yes, but your group may not exceed 6 players, as each table only fits 6 players. 

To sign up as a group, either have one group member purchase all the tickets, or have each individual person purchase their own. If only one person purchased the tickets, have them send the email. If not, choose one person from your group to email lhall@nhmu.utah.edu the names and email addresses of everyone in your group. 

Although previous experience with Dungeons & Dragons® is not required, it is highly valued amongst party members. If you have never played before, please let your Game Master know ahead of time.

Yes, but we have specific rules due to strict pest policies. 

Your tables will be located in the galleries, where no food is allowed. However, we have stationed "Taverns" near the tables where snacks and drinks are allowed to be consumed on breaks. They may not be taken into the galleries.

Please note that only snacks are allowed. Please do not bring large dishes or Crockpots, take-out pizzas, or anything that will take a decent amount of time to consume.

However, we have stationed "Taverns" near the tables where other drinks, like soda, are allowed to be consumed on breaks. They may not be taken into the galleries.

Important Note: The University of Utah is a dry campus. This means that regardless of an individual's age, the use, possession, manufacture, sale, or distribution of alcoholic beverages of any type on university premises, including all HRE facilities and properties on and off campus, is prohibited except as expressly permitted by law and university regulations. As the Natural History Museum of Utah is a University affiliated property, alcohol is not permitted.

We provide players with a name tag, pencil and pen, scratch paper, and their dice set and "die"-nosaur dice holder. Directions to connect to the WiFi will also be at your table.

We aim to have character creation and quest details to you no later than one week before your session. Occasionally it may be earlier or later, due to your Game Master's schedule. You will receive information in an email to the address you purchased the ticket with.

The Dinos & Dice sessions are adults 18+ only. While the adventure does not contain explicit content, gameplay and player interactions may occasionally include mature themes, complex storytelling, or discussions that are better suited for older participants. Because the content of tabletop roleplaying games is partly shaped by the players, we cannot guarantee that every conversation will be appropriate for young children.

Please note that we are in the process of developing a Dinos & Dice event for all ages!

Yes! While we cannot offer you a refund, we can still give you your dice set and "die"-nosaur dice holder. Please email lhall@nhmu.utah.edu to set up a time to retrieve your items.

You may switch your ticket to another date, if there are still spots available. If there are no spots available for the date you would like, we can refund your ticket. If you do not want to switch your ticket to a new date, we can refund your ticket as well. To do this, please email lhall@nhmu.utah.edu. 

You have a few options! You can: find another friend who is willing to take their spot, not try to fill the spot and take home the goodies to your friend who couldn't attend, or email us for a refund of their ticket. Whichever you choose, please email lhall@nhmu.utah.edu to keep us updated!
