Research Quest On-Demand: Q&A with Jesse Pruitt
Join us for a talk with Jesse Pruitt, Idaho State University's Virtualization Laboratory Manger. Jesse single-handedly scanned and modeled several dozen fossils from NHMU's paleontology collections which were then used in our first ever Research Quest investigation, "What dinosaur did these bones come from?"
Jesse describes himself as a digital paleo-artist and CG enthusiast that specializes in creating life restorations of prehistoric animals. He will be here to talk about his work, the tools he uses to do it, and what it takes to be a skillful 3D modeler. He will also answer student questions.
