Indian Art Market 2016: Jeremy Rosetta, 2nd Place Winner
Jeremy Rosetta from the Pueblo of Kewa (Santo Domingo) is a self-taught artist. He has been creating jewelry since he was 16 years old. Jeremy is very passionate about the ancient ways of the pueblo people as well as other cultures. He incorporates many of the symbols and stories into his artwork; he also participates in the cultural activities of his people and is fluent in the Keres language.
Jeremy works on his jewelry on a daily basis and still makes time for his family. He occasionally paints, writes poetry and tells stories he acquired from the elders he grew up with.
He has traveled to New York, Kansas, California, Arizona and Utah to attend juried art shows. He is a fan of the late Joseph Campbell and his interpretations of symbols.
