NHMU Internship: Basic Code Maintenance and Webpage Management

Estimated Duration of Internship: 1 Semester

Number of hours the intern will work per week over a 16 week semester: 12 hours (4 academic credit hours)

Intern Position Description: General Software Maintenance on existing exhibit code (typically in Unity) This intern will modify existing code sets to modify functions. This position will take existing exhibits programs and modify them to interact on Mobile devices. Project management and requirements gathering and analysis will also be required.

Learning Outcomes or Goals: 

• Learn to do Code Modifications on existing Exhibit Programs - Mostly in Unity
• Learn how to manage a Project 
• Learn the art of speaking to clients and documenting requirements. 
• Learn how to taking an existing code base and turn it into an online version that can be access via and mobile app.

Appropriate majors: Information Sytems;Web & User Experience; Computer Science; Gaming; or Old EAE

Preference given to applicants with: General familiarity with SW Dev, Unity, Webpages, online applications.
