About the Workshop

You may know how to make a great cup of coffee, but do you know why? During this workshop we will explore coffee extraction principles and their effects on your cup o’ joe. We will investigate coffee’s acidity, bitterness, sweetness, and aromatics. The Four Ts; time, temperature, turbulence and, of course, taste will all be examined. The principles discussed will apply to all brew methods. Come prepared to drink coffee!

Workshop presented by Tom Wilson, Director of Coffee, he/him, and Edie DeVilbiss, Director of Sales and Marketing, she/her.
