Family STEAM Explorations at NHMU
Dive into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) with this hands-on, interactive program designed for families. Held on most 2nd and 4th Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 PM, this drop-in event invites visitors to engage in exciting, rotating STEAM topics every other month.

Unleash your inner engineer and dive into the thrilling world of roller coasters! In this hands-on drop-in session, you’ll explore the physics behind roller coasters while designing and testing your own prototypes using common household items.

Math and Art with Tessellations, Origami, and DNA Barcoding
Exploring math through art is a fantastic way to engage and spark curiosity! Join us as we explore these concepts using tessellations and origami to investigate symmetry. In addition, we'll have guests learn about and participate in our latest Citizen Science project, DNA Barcoding! These activities not only teach important math concepts, but also enhance creativity and problem-solving skills.
