Summer Camp Overview

At NHMU, we are committed to cultivating lifelong skills in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) investigations that promote independence, nurture teamwork, and inspire resiliency and innovation while providing time to explore the natural world. Our Summer Camps take full advantage of the Museum's exhibits and collections as well as the incredible natural environments around our site.

Give your child the gift of wonder by registering them for NHMU's award-winning Summer Camps, which will help them gain new perspectives, make new friends, explore a wide variety of STEAM fields, and of course, have fun!

Important Information

  • Registration Limit: Due to Utah childcare licensing exemptions for out-of-school programs, each camper may attend a maximum of five weeks of camp per summer.
  • Class sizes are limited to ensure high staff-to-child ratios.
  • Unless otherwise noted, sessions will run Monday-Thursday. Any exceptions are identified by an asterisk (*) on session listings.

Museum Member Benefits

Museum Members at the Family level and above receive early access to summer camp registration! Though this allows Members to register for Summer Camps before the public, please note that camp placement cannot be guaranteed for any Museum membership level.
