Research Quest On-Demand: Who Wins and Who Loses in a Rapidly Changing Forest? Part 1

Trees aren't the only thing in the Uinta Mountains that are being impacted by change. Lots of other plants and animals live there, too. What impact is change having on them?

You'll begin this investigation by using interactive models to collect the data needed to discover what's living in the Uinta Mountains. You'll also use data from NHMU's collections to build your own model that shows how all of these plants and animals are related to one another. This is the first step in figuring out who wins and who loses in a rapidly changing forest. NHMU educator Tracey Collins will lead today's class with help from NHMU Paleobotanist Dr. Mitchell Power — and a surprise guest!  Access instructions for using on-demand classes and to see additional on-demand options.
