The Museum is Open!

A new visitor policy is in place to prioritize the health and comfort of all our guests. Tickets must now be reserved online in advance and will not be available for purchase at the Museum.

The Museum is open 363 days a year. Closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Please note that Wednesday evening hours are not currently available.

Want a quiet trip to the Museum?

If you wish to visit the Museum during a quieter time, the following days and times tend to be less busy: Monday to Friday after 1:30 p.m., and Sundays.

Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. are now reserved for senior citizens and guests with compromised immunity. Learn more about staying healthy and safe at the Museum

You do not need to present a member card when arriving at the Ticketing Desk. Guest Services staff will look up your membership when you arrive at the Museum.

An average visit to the Museum is two to three hours. You may stay at the Museum for as long as you like, however, you must exit the building before 5 p.m.

Because the minimum length of time for a gallery visit is at least one-hour, please note that no tickets will be honored after 4:30 p.m. The Museum closes at 5 p.m.
