2024 Summer Camp Scholarship Application

Application Process for Summer 2024 has been re-opened. We'll close this process down when we fill all scholarship spots and/or have depleted our funding.

Update April 14, 2024: At this time, all 2nd-3rd grade sessions are full.

The Natural History Museum of Utah strives to provide high-quality, inclusive programming to children attending kindergarten through the eighth grade. We are thankful to our camp sponsors, who have generously donated funding toward our scholarship program for 2024. Scholarships cover 100% of camp fees and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to students who receive, or are eligible for, free or reduced price lunch in the Free or Reduced School Lunch Program, or whose families meet the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines for the program.

We have reserved spots in each summer camp session for scholarships. Even if the sessions says it's full for registration, know that it may still have spots open for scholarships. In the application you'll be asked for your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd session choice.

With so many applications and limited spots, we will prioritize those who have not received a scholarship for summer camp in the past.

Please note that because funds are limited and demand for camp is high, qualifying for a scholarship does not guarantee a scholarship award. In addition, while we do our best to fulfill requests, qualifying for a scholarship does not guarantee a spot in summer camp. The scholarship program allows one scholarship per child per summer. If a family has more than one child, the parent or guardian may submit a separate application for each child in the household. Parents or guardians are responsible for providing transportation each day of camp as well as a lunch and two snacks.

Scholarship applications are being accepted. We reserve the right to close the application process, without notice, once our scholarship funding has run out or spots in our camp program are full. Completed applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Application information will be held confidentially and destroyed when Summer Camp 2024 has concluded.
