To receive the pricing listed below groups must schedule their visit in advance.

University of Utah students, staff and faculty receive free admission to the Museum a valid University ID. Groups from the University of Utah should still schedule a visit before arrival.
Field Trip
Group field trips are available for the 2024-2025 school year. NHMU proudly offers group visits for university and college groups to explore the Museum. These visits are self-guided unless a meeting is coordinated directly with a NHMU Staff Member or Scientist. Based on availability, we are happy to provide a space to meet with your class if needed. Please fill out the form below to request a field trip to NHMU. Requests should be submitted at least three business days prior to desired visit date. *Reservations are required for all guests visiting NHMU.
Rolling Admission
NHMU is happy to offer university and college groups the option of visiting through Rolling Admission. This type of visit allows students to visit at any time during a set time period. Rolling Admission Field Trips are offered at all times but students will need to show their teacher's discount code for admission. To schedule a rolling admission field trip for your group please fill out the form below. Information about how students can schedule their visit will be included in the confirmation email.
Additional Information
Please note, through generous support from the Utah State Board of Education and the Utah Legislature, the Museum is able to offer free admission to 40,000 Utah Public and Charter School students, plus their teachers and chaperones, each school year. These field trips typically occur Monday through Friday from 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., and the Museum can become crowded during these hours.
