STEM Lab
STEM Lab is a playful space where visitors can investigate together the connections between STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), the natural world, and human capacity to solve real-world problems. Enjoy 10-15 minutes hands-on activities exploring puzzling problems and designing imaginative solutions where failure is simply part of the creative learning process.
Program Information
- Open most Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:30am-12:30pm during the school year (September-May).
- Anyone visiting the Museum while STEM Lab is open is welcome to drop in - no sign-up necessary.
- STEM Lab availability is subject to change depending on considerations such as staffing and scheduled field trips.
- Check with staff during your arrival to learn if and where STEM Lab is being offered during your visit.
