Explore Great Salt Lake
Partner Camp with FRIENDS of Great Salt Lake
Join us for an adventurous week with staff from FRIENDS of GSL. From birding in Farmington Bay to swimming with brine shrimp at Antelope Island, each day we will go on an outdoor field trip to explore Great Salt Lake’s unique ecosystem. Along the way, we will practice science and art to learn about migratory birds, water quality, geology, and environmental stewardship. We are scientists, activists, and love being outside.
Drop off and pick up takes place at NHMU. Transportation to and from field trip locations is provided. No camp on Friday.

Through hands-on investigations, museum exhibits, and creative research projects, campers will study animal adaptations, food webs, and the delicate balance that keeps ecosystems thriving. Ready to join the mission to protect our planet and become a conservation hero? This camp takes place entirely at NHMU, Monday-Thursday. No camp on Friday.
